The luggage is important if you'll be using it to camp or just haul back a few necessities from the mart, otherwise just part with it. It doesn't trouble me with the looks, but it will be in the way if you're just using the bike for sport or the occasional jaunt about town.

As a Master Electrician. If you find your wire is fraying out like in this video. Grab a TY-WRAP, put it around you wire (Snug, Not cranked down). Slide it up. No need for a hose clamp. Start your connector on the wire, then grab your side cutters. Cut off the ty wrap and slide your connector on all the way. Now crimp it and heat shrink. Done!

Option. 2 when you don't have to buy anything.Additional is you do a two steps stripping you strip Half of the total strip length. Remove as normal. Then you cut for the second strip for the rest of the strip length, break the plastic so you can get it to move forward. Bring it to where the about a 16th from the end slip on your connector push down. Remove the rest of the insulation and push the rest of it away down With the connector easy psy lemon squeezing , no additional expense.

  • @jeffj9213

You f-ed up after stripping the wire, just strip the insulation and dont twist the copper. After twisting its not fitting like showed, just keep it straight after cutting and it will fit right into the connector. Id only use this kind of method when a wire is not long enough to cut the end.

I buy parts from DigiKey but since both switch actuators are frozen, I can't determine the correct replacement. What is the format of the switches that you put on your board (SPST, SPDT, ON/OFF, etc). Thanking you, in advance, for any help you can provide regarding the switches. The SPST switches that control the overhead console lights are available on DigiKey by the same manufacturer as the originals but set up for board mounting. They can be used, since the mounting legs come out the end that the wires do on the original switch. Just solder a wire to each leg and you have a working ON/OFF switch.
